So, I visited my doctor's yesterday to get the ball rolling, and got a little bit of grief about the fact I have missed two periods before testing, until I pointed out to my GP that as I suffer with PCOS it isn't entirely usual for me to miss three or four periods and not be pregnant.
Anyway, doing a bit of math, my GP thinks I'm about 9 or 10 weeks pregnant so I've had to call the midwives directly to get myself put in for a scan.
Today my morning sickness hasn't even appeared, but I still feel v sickish and got a massive headache, for which my GP has given me tablets for. Following the horrible experience I had in 2008, I am really hoping this doesn't mean I'm miscarrying at the moment, but as actually throwing up has been replaced with just nausea and nothing else has changed it might just mean that I actually am around 9-10 weeks, my hormones have peeked which caused the sickness.
I was talking about it to Rob yesterday and he said my sickness wasn't nearly as bad as when I was pregnant with Lauren, so fingers crossed that all is still happening normally. It's frustrating, and I wish there was a way to be more sure about these things.
So anyway, that's all I have to say on the issue today, and I'm off to put my paddy monster to bed - naughty bubba that she is.
