Rewatching the Last Few Minutes of the End of Time....

The first time I watched the Goodbyes at The End of Time I was pretty stoney to it, and I had promised myself not to cry, but the second time I watched it, on my own I just cracked and sobbed from the moment with Wilf...

It's the part where Wilf salatues the Doctor as he is in the distance across the graveyard, I can't help but cry, because all though Part 2 in particular Bernard Cribbins gives a really heartfelt performance that actually threatens to out do David Tennant.

But the moment that really gets me is something I didn't at all see in the first, second or third viewing of the episode, and it's that Wilf also, sort of blows a kiss out to the Doctor in a destated manner

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUTZdyl-DTA just watch this from about 7.50 for the moment I am talking about.

I just feel for Wilf so much - because, of course, earlier in the episode, he is begging the Doctor to take the gun and shoot the Master because Wilf doesn't want him to die, but then it transpires that the Doctor actually gives his life so Wilf can live. He must be gutted for the Time Lord.
