So here are my detailed thoughts on the season 1 finale. There are spoilers for Wizard's First Rule, so if you want to discus the episode without book spoilers you can bring up a topic in my previous entry.
Haha, I also thought that when the 2nd Book of Counted Shadows came in they were going to do things correct. Or at least in a way that would make sense with the books. With Richard having the necklace (and they emphasized that thing so much in the beginning episodes) I thought he might actually have the Book of Counted Shadows memorized like in the book.
I always joked that with Rahl's set up of displaying the boxes that they were a puzzle (and don't you just hate it when it turns out the last puzzle piece is missing?!), but I didn't think it would actually turn out that was how the boxes in the show worked. XD
And I agree with making a two part episode. I grew up watching The X-Files, so two and three part finales are the norm for me, not to mention multi-part episodes within the season. I really felt there were several times when Seeker could have used a two part episode.
I'm extremely curious as to how the next season will turn out. ^_^
Oh, and because I can never remember just how many of the books people have read and don't want to spoil anything with a comment, how many of the books have you read? ^_~
I have read all of the books as of a few weeks ago, so you will not spoil anything for me. :)
ME TOO ON THE X-FILES. And later down the road, I was sooo into Buffy. So I'm totally used to multi-part episodes. I've been so surprised they haven't gone that way at all, not even with a mid-season or finale episode.
