Been meaning to do this write-up for a while, but book 4 always gives me a bad feeling when I think about it. Like I mentioned before, if you've read book 4 I'd really appreciate your comments on some things since I haven't seen much addressing this at the other places I visit for Seeker stuff.

Sword of Truth #3 - Blood of the Fold )
I know this is completely random- but I stumbled upon your journal while looking at Legend of the Seeker stuff online, and we share so many fandoms that I couldn't just pass by without saying something.
So hey, I think you're pretty cool, do you mind if I add you to my friends list?
You did a fabulous job on the Kahlan cosplay btw, the resemblance is uncanny! I re-read all of the Sword of Truth books this past year (I think I'd stopped when I got to book 4 last time) and it completely rekindled my love for them. I'm dying to make a Mord-Sith costume- based off the descriptions in the books rather than the TV show, but still. OH god I'm sorry I'm completely rambling and you don't even know me and I probably sound more than a little insane. :

Thanks so much for the cosplay compliments. I'm so happy it's received such positive remarks! ^_^ You should totally take a shot at the Mord-Sith outfit! It would be awesome to see what someone came up with, book or show based.
I actually read through book six of Sword of Truth, but after that I stopped and haven't decided to continue yet. Book five kinda upset me and I was about ready to drop the series after that, but I was a little curious as to what would happen next so I went ahead and started book six. For the most part I did really enjoy six. I love it when Kahlan takes over armies and starts declaring war on everybody. XD And Cara was great too. And I think now I'm the one rambling. XD
Oh, and I'm guessing that that is you in your icon? Very good and cute!

Yeah, that part just really affected me for some reason, and I'm not entirely sure why I had such a strong reaction to it. I am definitely looking forward to Berdine and Raina! It will be pretty interesting to see if they bring back the Sister of Light, since well, the Sisters in season one were not the Sisters of the book. >_< I really don't have a thing for big guys, so I'm actually glad that the Richard of the series is slimmer than the book version. XD
Glad you like the guides! They were fun to make! XD Unfortunately I'm not planning on making any other costumes right now. I just recently moved and got a job that is taking up a lot of time now. Not to mention I don't have my own sewing machine here. Since I'm still trying to get stuff for my apartment the sewing projects will have to wait until I'm more situated. T_T I think if I didn't get the job I would have definitely started contemplating a Mord-Sith outfit more seriously. XD

Ha ha, well at least that worked out well! It sounds like a lot of people really like Craig Horner as Richard - so maybe their casting wasn't so strange after all. I guess I just had certain hopes from the books and really wanted to see a really big/tall Richard. Oh well!
Oh bummer, I'd love to see what other costumes you come out with- your Kahlan one was beautiful!
