Tonight, I had a dance partner that actually knew what he was doing - and it was awesome!
It really makes a difference, particularly if you're not an experienced dancer when the guy actually leads like he's supposed to.
He kept saying "stop counting, I'll lead you. No, really, stop counting, just dance. Kate. Stop counting."
I can't help it, I'm a musician and a perfectionist, what can I say?
Anyway, that was the most real fun I've had in a long time. *whew*
