Supernatural
To be honest, since seeing the preview for this one, I haven't been overly excited to see it, seemed a little boring. For me it was, at points, but I'm always happy when there's boys and Bobby interaction. So yay!
...Trying to figure out something to ramble on about really. I had no huge issues with this episode, but at the same time, nothing overly awesome to talk about.
Ah! Old!Dean and Bobby bitching at one another was awesome. XD Reminded me of the two old hecklers from The Muppet Show. Lol.
It's also been bugging me 'cause I know that Irish guy was in another show I watched, I just can't figure out which one. I'm leaning toward "Prison Break" but I don't think that's it.
And yay for badass Sammy winning the game. It sucks always having people think you're not capable of doing something 'cause you're the baby of the family, I know this all too well, so it's nice seeing him totally school everyone with that.
I guess maybe my main problem here is that I really don't care about, or understand, poker. ^^; That definitely skews my judgement.
Excited for the next episode just to see them poke fun at CSI: Miami. XD
So yeah, just a short little review-y thing for that episode. Not one of my favourites, but not a bad one either. Kinda like the "I Believe the Children are the Future" episode that I never did review 'cause I was in Victoria. That one also bored me a bit, but it was still good. Had some good points, had some 'meh' points, nothing outstanding like earlier in the season. That and I don't like kids, so that skews my judgment there too. ^^;
Had my make up scan today for my Radiation Simulation. Turns out the problem was that I didn't breathe normally. *headwall* For every other scan they do they ask me to hold my breath. In fact, the bloody machine even says: "Don't breathe.... breathe normally." I just followed it's instructions. *fistshake* Anyway, yeah, turns out they wanted me to breathe normally 'cause they need to see my lung capacity or something? I dunno. Whatever. I breathed as well as I could with that WRETCHED mask on my face. Hopefully I don't have to go through another make up scan.
Assuming all goes well, I'll have an education session on November 12th and then we'll start the treatments on November 16th. ALL of them are scheduled for 8:00am though. Woe.
Lol, I looked FABULOUS at the institute though. Wandering around in one of those horrible hospital gown and housecoat combinations and my
Jolly Boots of DOOM. The techs loved them anyway. XD
Afterward we went for hotcakes and sausage at Mickie D's. Yay! And then started the search for clasps, trim, and a tassel for my cape. Of course while looking for that I ended up getting two new pairs of jeans (ass crack problem solved!) and a new
TokiDoki bag. They had them on sale at the new shoe store at the mall. $80 off, couldn't pass it up... so I whipped out the poor, abused Visa. ^^; Then promptly put my government cheque and some extra cash on it.
Ooh, I also got some of those cute Vancouver 2010 mitts. I'm not a huge sports fan and have never really cared about the Olympics, but I do like those mittens.
After spending the entire day trying to find those 'notions' for my cape, we ended up finding some hook things to close it and a basic trim. What I didn't realise was that while wandering around everywhere, I had, in my bag, two tassels. *headwall* They are attached to my swanky Kuroshitsuji key rings though, so I'd rather not destroy those. Still, I felt like such a knob.
We were unsuccessful with the tassel but I'll manage to put something together, I'm sure.
Looks like tomorrow will be spent sewing... 'cause yeah, Saturday's Halloween. ^^;
