I'm having a bitch of a time keeping this thing updated and I couldn't even tell you why. Most of the time I go to update it and I'm about to hit that little "post" link and I go..."meh, I'll do it later." Not today my friends, oh no, today I'm forcing myself to write out my little words.
SO.
Work: Insert frustration here. The whole talking with my supervisor and manager has done shit all as far as I can tell. I have one shift this week. One four hour shift. What the hell is that? Certainly not part time, that's for damn sure. Anyhoo, brought that up with my people again and they're supposedly on the trail of figuring out what's going on and trying to remedy it. *shrugs* I dunno, I'll believe it when I see some results. I know for sure that the schedule for next week will determine what my plans for the future will entail.
Laser Tag: I freakin' SUCK. O'course I wasn't trying as hard at that as I was with paintball mainly 'cause it wasn't just our group of people in the course. There were a whole bunch of other people. I find, typically, it's more fun with people you know. Despite all that jazz, I had an awesome time.
Supernatural: So... "Family Ties". Hm. Well, it was a good episode. Definitely had the creep factor going, but, uhm... there be a few issues. For one, they're beginning to get a little melodramatic here. Yeah, it sucks what happened to Dean, but lets get over that for a moment, or not get so heavy handed with the "woe is me" moments. Also... where's Sam? He's kinda gotten thrown into the background with Dean's resurrection. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Dean's back, but it IS the Sam n Dean show. Can't have one without the other. I'm biased though, I've never been a fan of the episodes where the focus is on one brother more than the other or where they're separated. That said though, I'm highly forgiving 'cause it's finally back from hiatus. ^^;
My Bloody Valentine 3D: Surprisingly decent. I went in there with no expectations other than "cheesy slasher flick in 3D" and "I hope it's better than House of Wax". Good news is that it is indeed better than the new House of Wax. Bad news? Still a cheesy slasher flick, but it's fun. Very gory (nothing like dodging a decapitated head thrown in your direction), but with the title it has, it should've been expected. Really I was quite happy with the whole movie, up until the end... but even that doesn't bother me too much. So yeah, go give it a try. It's fun.
Stomp: Excellent show! Each time I thought "Oh, it can't get more impressive than that", it did, exponentially. I really enjoyed myself, despite my uncanny misfortune of always getting the seat near the most obnoxious people in the room... *flail* I hate people. But it didn't ruin the show at least.
... doesn't hurt that one of the guys kinda looked like a super buff Wentworth Miller. :B
And that's basically it for what I've been up to the last little while. Oh! Except I've been playing through the GC remake of Resident Evil. :B That's some good, frustrating fun. I'm having such issues with the controls, but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it again. I only just beat the snake the first time 'round. I'm so used to the more action-y elements of RE4 that the proper survival horror of RE is proving to be more difficult for me. Mostly 'cause I can't really just shoot whatever I run into. There's a lot more dodging and planning out my paths than before. I need to hurry me arse through the game though so I can get through RE2 and 3 hopefully before RE5 comes out...
