Christmas Gift Toy & MySpace Layouts at pYzam.com

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Saturday I ruled Duluth, Minnesota as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). Last Tuesday I helped cybernaughtyka hide a body (-173 points). In May I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). In February I didn't flush (-1 points). Last Friday I helped ff7aeris see the light (8 points).

Overall, I've been nice (526 points). For Christmas I deserve a pony!

Sincerely,
Galadhfea

I am the almighty leader of Duluth! Lol.

Anyhoo, enough dorkin' around, time for a status update. Yay.
My new job has, so far, taken over a good chunk of my time. It's not so bad really, just that the nights are tricky to get used to. It's pretty laid back, which is awesome, but I like sleeping too much to keep this up for very long. Hopefully I'll get switched to morning shifts sooner rather than later (and then I can bitch about that one, lol, 'cause we know that's what's going to happen), if not, the overnight thing will last through December it sounds like. There's not much to be done about how much I'm working though, with it around Christmas time all retail places are going to be stupid busy.

Speaking of Christmas, that was my job last night. Setting up a display of Christmas CDs and putting up bows all around the store. ^^; Sure, I love x-mas as much as the next person, but in small doses. I can't stand seeing xmas stuff in November, you know. Now that it's December, I'm less harsh on the idea, but yeah. I just found it amusing that one of the least christmas-y people got decorating duty.
It was either that or hauling TVs and BluRay players out on the floor, so I can deal with what I had to do. ^^ Actually I think that's why I had to do it, 'cause I can't do any heavy lifting due to my back. Of course no one really took into account that I had to wade into bins upon bins of DVDs and CDs, and those bastards are heavy. Oi.

But I persevere! I'm off Friday morning to Sunday night. I foresee much sleeping in that time.

work, meme, christmas
