Sammy's got handy-dandy demon exorcism powers! It's hot! I like! Aaaand, Ruby's back...but she seems like less of a bitch, so that's good.
I don't care for how many secrets the boys seem to be stacking up and hiding from one another, but I supposed they HAVE been apart for four months now, it might be a bit tricky to just open up again.
Obviously the biggest thing on my mind right now is the fact that there's a freakin' ANGEL in the show...and apparently God thought it'd be fun to bring Dean back.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this to be honest.
Now we all know I don't like people getting preach-y with shows. "Houses of the Holy" is my least favourite episode because of this, but that's not my problem actually. The problem for me is that Kripke had previously said that he didn't want angels to be real in SPN because that's basically the Hunters' jobs. They're the force of good in this rather dark world. It just, I don't know. I really don't know what to think of it right now.
I'm all for balance, so sure, if there's demons, there can be angels. I'm just..hm.
^^; I really can't finish that properly.
Do I think this Kastiel/Castiel/Castielle (I'm completely spoiler free, so I don't know how we're spelling this at the moment) is swanky? Sure do. Not sure I like his OMG!power... it seems a little unbalanced. I suppose it's supposed to though.
I'm not entirely convinced he's an angel either really. Not in the traditional sense anyway. After all, Lucifer used to be called Lucifel if I recall right...
But yeah! Really enjoyed the show, love the action and the badassness of our boys...the moment we hit the angel storyline things kinda stopped for me, but it's only the first episode. Really looking forward to the rest of the season!
