The world has lost it's light

Okay! So my mission yesterday was to procure Tokio Hotel's album "Scream", just released here in Canada yesterday, and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core.

The result was kinda mixed. Mixed in that, I didn't end up with Crisis Core, but I finally found a copy of Final Fantasy Chronicles. AND in stead of just releasing "Scream", Tokio Hotel has released all of their albums in Canada, so I got to pick up "Zimmer 483" as well. I've already got "Schrei"...didn't really notice if they had "Schrei So Laut du Kannst" though...should've looked closer. If it's there, I'll get it. XD

Turns out Crisis Core was supposedly pushed back 'til today (what the EB guy said to me) or tomorrow (what they told yuukihikari). They said they'd call me, but I'm impatient. XD Hopefully I get a call today. What pisses me off though, is one of my regulars who kept coming into my shoppe to ask about Crisis Core, and to whom I had to keep saying, nope not yet, and told about the pushed back status, came back in my store a few minutes later to show me the copy he managed to get from Zellers. O_o So either Zellers didn't get whatever memo everyone else seemed to get OR I need to have some words with EB...

But whatever. It's technically going to be my third copy of the game (I wonder if my Japanese save data will work with the English copy. O_o) so I'm not TOO upset over it, but I'd like to get it when they tell me it's supposed to be released. This happened to me with Devil May Cry 4 as well.

And, despite all that, I think I'll be pre-ordering Metal Gear Solid 4 as well. XD There's a super special edition coming out that's nearly double the price of the original, but it's got a bunch of stuff with it, so me being the uber dork I am, cannot refuse.

Speaking of EB, there's a GameStop in the mall I went to yesterday. O_o It's freakin' HUGE. Took up the old Music World location. Doesn't make sense in my mind to have a GameStop AND EB in the same mall, but it turns out they're just waiting for some stuff to finalize before they just smoosh the two stores together.

TV Last Night!

Jericho, final episode: I cry. Well, not literally, but I'm still upset that the show got cancelled. Again. Despite all that, it was a great finale. Naturally I'd like to see it continue, 'cause they set it up REALLY well for a third season. *le sigh* Granted they really crammed a bunch of stuff and it seemed to move too fast at times, but I can understand them wanting to get in as much as possible, they likely compressed a bunch of episodes into that one. I also appreciate the fact that they filmed two finales: one if they got renewed, one if they didn't. So it's less cliffhanger-y than the other one, and gives you a pretty good feeling on what would happen next, but still, it's no substitute for a new season. Hopefully the fans can pull of another miracle, but I have my doubts. I'm not so sure it's CBS that really wants it off the air, or if the government does, 'cause lets face it, it's a controversial show.

...either that or I'm just super paranoid.

...which I am, but that's not the point.

ANYHOO, as a "final" send of to Jericho? Great episode.

And finally, some Tokio Hotel news!

Only it's not really happy stuff. ;_; Turns out it's a good thing I didn't drop everything I was doing and plan a trip over to Toronto. The tour to Canada has been cancelled. In fact, the ENTIRE tour has been cancelled. It seems Bill had been having some troubles lately, which he got checked out by a doctor, and now he needs surgery on his vocal chords. I can't even begin to imagine how scary that would be. I'm petrified of surgery at the best of times, but when it affects your career. *shudders* Hopefully everything turns out well.
