Drawing class went well except I was under the impression that I was supposed to bring all my art with me today. Apparently that's next week. Oh well, just have to haul it all back again. We did this thing where you work on a page covered in chalk/charcoal, and rub it out to get the white. It's kind of like working backwards from drawing, I liked it. I'll take pictures of my stuff tomorrow sometime.
I also have to figure out the VCR tomorrow... *le sigh*
See, I rock the VCR, but the thing is, we got a whole new home theatre set up. ^^; Which rocks by the way. 42" LG HD Plasma TV with a Bose home theatre system. Sexiness is. The problem? Dad set it all up. *shakes head* They came home at about 7:00pm last night with this stuff, and at 11:30pm they still didn't have it working right.
... then my half deaf father decides to try and set up the Bose system at about midnight. Thanks. That was awesome.
Anyhoo, it's all working now, but I don't know how he set up the VCR. The video is fine, but the sound is hooked directly to the Bose system, so if I record anything, I don't get any sound. Shouldn't be TOO tricky to fix though.
As a result of the new technology in the living room, we played musical TVs last night. I got the one from Mom and Dad's room, the old one in the living room moved into their room and the old one from my room? I dunno what's happening with it really. It's just chilling out downstairs.
So that's my excitement for the...yesterday.
Today? Had a chat with alias_chick that went by a lot faster than usual...and class, that did the same actually. And the instructor said I had natural talent, so my ego got a bit of a boost. Go team!
