Feeling Escapist
Yesterday was Bryan's birthday. I took off some time on a couple different days to obtain a flying RC fish and all items to assemble it then hid it in the rec room closet for him to find. Surprised him with a cake and a reservation to Mill Creek without the kids! There is a big working water wheel in there.
He was so happy and surprised. The fish is about four feet long and looks like it is swimming when it flies around the house! Totally awesome!
He was swimming it over to me (I ended up feeling sick & laying in bed for a few hrs) and landed it on my head. I was funny. Then O came out of his room & said,"Dad the fish [sound] is keeping me awake!" It was too hilarious! I can only imagine his childhood memories in the future :) Bryan let him try to fly it some.
Feeling down today. Getting visited/harassed by inlaws this weekend. Or it could be looking at fb stuff that made me too nostalgic- I hate nostalga! Maybe it's because work friend is missing.
I want to run away for the day and spend the day laughing amd sharing secrets with a friend. Or go on an impromptu roadtrip.
