I was searching through the book store when I found a text which truly spoke to me - The Book of Five Rings. It's the wisdom and teachings of a samurai by the name of Miyamoto Musashi, and it has me thinking so deeply. It says on the book jacket that it 'is an instruction guide concerned with conflict and strategy' which leads me to believe it

I had figured it to be a fool's errand at best and impossible at worst, however that will not dissuade me from making further attempts.

It's good to know that just because you have the ability to read people you choose not to out of respect for their privacy. It's quite nice to realize that simply having a skill doesn't mean you are compelled to use it often.

^_^ Thanks. Yeah, I mean, before I discovered that wearing gloves suppresses my powers I could've sworn I heard other folks' thoughts... very dimly, but still, it was a little unsettling. I like to figure people out on my own and let them keep their thoughts to themselves...
