For anyone wondering I had a wonderful time at the Ball, I felt incredibly... at home there. The whole situation just seemed familiar to me, which I suppose is a telling thing. I must admit, there were many dashing couples there, and everyone looked resplendent. My date was looking quite handsome, and I do believe we matched well.
Spike, if you're still wondering, I enjoyed your company and would be honored to act as your 'date' in the future if you like. So long as others approve, of course.
Since I received so many responses to my last query I believe I'll make it a constant in my journal. For this week, I would like to know people's thoughts on a certain situation I've been pondering frequently - if someone from your 'real life' were to show up here how would you approach the situation? Would you speak with them and tell them what you know and remember of your shared history, or would you politely introduce yourself and offer assistance but not bring up knowing of them?
It seems so complicated... much as many things in life are.
