I think I may be in serious temptation...
There is a waterfront property I am seriously considering making an offer to buy. Good water depth and it has a nice dock. Nice neighbors and views of the water. On a finger of the Wicomico that leads out to the Bay. House is decent and is a three bedroom/two bath with screenporch facing the water. Shed and garage.
Just a leeeetle outside my price range, but it's been on the market for 8 months and the owner is eager to sell.
Of course, this would mean selling my Richmond home. Since the 'rents live here in Richmond near me, I could stay with them and still work at my job for a while and go over to the water on weekends.
I wonder if that town needs a travel agent? I think I could do it with creative financing. I'll check into this.
Margaret would love it, too. She's a real river rat. Scruff likes to catch the breeze on a dock.
Samantha likes to swim. I think the (four-paw gang) menagerie wouldn't take long to adjust.
OK...if you're REALLY my friends, play devil's advocate and talk me out of it??? Or come visit me and we'll take the boat out!!!
I would definitely repaint this puppy a sunny yellow with white trim and black shutters. :)
