We've had some wonderful thunderstorms in the last week, each one with lightning displays far outclassing the fireworks on the 4th.
On Tuesday night, I saw an incredible electrical storm. 2 of the bolts of lightning were followed with green flashes, and 1 had a longer green flash that turned orange to yellow back to green again. Later, internet research told me each of those were power lines getting hit and making electrical arcs as they shorted out.
Last night had more great lightning, so the L and I played frisbee at night with my fancy
Flashflight while watching the skies light up.
Normally, I hate rain around here since it's always barely warmer than snow, but with the highs in the 90s every day, watching some afternoon/evening rain break the heat has been great.
