Oh man, I just couldn't believe my luck when I realized it was YOU writing for my prompt! You have such a unique, realistic way to tell a story, most of whatever I know about kink actually comes from reading your work and then trying to find out more about it. So I absolutely loved this fic; how you built up Frank and Gerard's relationship, the fact that this is almost like a fairy tale about Frank being rescued by his dom in shining armour (if you don't mind me calling it that), I really wanted to punch Zeke in the nose by end of that first part.
I have a non-negligeable soft spot for sub!Frank and the many ways he can show how into it he is, so this whole story had me on brink of an overload, because of the way you showed what being a sub means to him both mentally and physically so profoundly. Also Gerard finding within himself the force to be the dom Frank needs and him taking steps and making the effort to become that man, even if it is in his nature to take care of Frank, it's very sweet and veeery sexy *_*
That furtive coming together in the van was possibly one of the hottest things I've ever read, the way Frank folds himself on the seat and gets himself in position even in that precarious situation was just such a turn-on. And then AND THEN OMG at the end, the worlds-colliding, it was just as weird as I'd hoped the situation could be, and finding all the details from my drawing described there and you got their expressions so, so well! And the fans' reactions was hilarious, as were the Gerards being geeky at each other and the Franks being little assholes at first. You made the scene come to life and fit with your story in a fantastic, meaningful way for Frank and Gerard's new relationship. I can't think of a greater alternative story for the beggingings of MCR.

Dom in shining armour is a PERFECT way to put it. Frank falls in love with a concept of Gerard before they negotiate for a safer version of him. I liked writing Frank basically unchanging as Gerard betters himself. So often in D/s fics it's the sub that changes himself for the Dom's every whim, but I wanted that to be a no-go from the beginning with Zeke and continue through.
I hadn't planned on having your drawn scene so late in the fic. I initally imagined a F/G floundering a bit in F+G's world. I just really needed to have F/G's dynamic set up perfectly before they met F+G, and that kept taking longer and longer. By the time I was there, it didn't seem like I needed a whole nother half a story with them living in our world.
