Okay, you know how they were going to sing SING for regionals? Well Sue said at the beginning of the show that she had a Sieze and Desist letter from MCR for them performing the song. Apparently she got it because a) she knew the drummer and in 1996 they were in an intense relationship during a drumming circle b) she told the drummer that Will had been targeted by PETA for hurting animals and that's why they said no.
SO ALL I WANT IS THE FIC WHERE SUE AND PEDICONE HAD ALL THE SEX BACK IN THE DAY. And current day Frank being 0.0 'this dude hurts puppies? NO SONG!'
(except she later tells Will she was lying, she actually had sex with the drummer of Jimmy Eat World, not MCR. but I don't care, I need this fic now anyway.)
Honestly it made the entire episode. I couldn't give a flying crap about the rest of all the things the fangirls are sure to go apeshit over because SUE/MIKE PEDICONE.

But if it was 1996 would Pedicone have been The Bled's drummer? When I heard that line I was picturing Bob leading a drum circle which omg why would Bob be doing that?

Well, technically in 1996 there would be no MCR drummer, seeing as they formed after 9/11. The way I looked at it is she told the drummer that was able to talk to the band and get them to refuse permission of a song, which would have to be Mike, as Bob a)probably isn't really in contact with them, and b) since it's SING he can't tell them what to do about it.
That being said, I will also take fic in which Sue and Bob have sex during a drum circle. I really, honestly don't care. Bob is shiny and awesome as well.
