Sex for trade is totally believable in killjoys verse. What you wrote about there just not being a lot of people around, and Frank and Ray in love...it'd be lonely. I also really liked what you said about sex in Battery City. Not even being present to the sensations, the gender of the person...it's so fucking sad is what it is. Great job with Show Pony, btw. He is smoking. The guy who plays him was at the album release show in LA and danced for us for like 15 minutes. Holy Fucking Hell. Yep. I mean, he wasn't shaking it for ME. But I can appreciate it just the same. :)

I've written a few variations on what I think sex in battery city would be like, but I think this is the most likely. I was on prozac for a few years, and I had a basic disinterest in sex at all, and orgasms were extremely rare. If you up the degree of medication and multiply by multiple pills doing different things, I think it's highly fucking likely that sex is something that occurs, but has been tainted to take all the thrill or passion or joy out.

And yeah, Show Pony is hot as hell. I don't really have personal attraction to guys, but HOLY FUCK would I love to watch him having sex with another guy. Between the shaggy hair and the moderate twinkiness I am ALL THE FUCK OVER that.

I like this, if only for how - different a portrayal it is of Party Posion, from the ones we normally get (not that that's the only reason!). I like the details about sex in the City, under the meds, the contrast between the two, and the way Poison doesn't underestimate Show Pony. And I especially liked this line - He wants everyone to flee the corporate town, but that doesn’t mean he wants to expand his family. I just - like the tone of the words, the way they sound like a sun-hardened Killjoy. :)

Thank you for your comment and your thoughts. I think that in this world they'd HAVE to be harder than they were as The Black Parade, or as normal guys. They're rebels, people are actively trying to kill them semi-frequently. So his first reaction to another person is to wonder how capable they are at killing.

Party believes that the world would be better if everyone rebelled, but he also knows if he tries to start some sort of hippie commune in the desert a) it would get them napalmed/whatever mass destruction weapon the SCARECROWS have, b)they wouldn't have enough resources and they'd all die and c) he spent 20ish years in Battery City, he's still not used to the idea of getting along with mass groups of people. Ignoring them, fine, that's what you did with the population. But to have to lead a group bigger than his brother and two friends? he's not sure he can handle that many people in his face.

Show Pony is just awesome. I firmly believe that Show/DDD are the Remus/Sirius of bandom... even if you don't write it actively, you can see it, and pretty much everyone will use it for a background pairing.

DDD is totally Party Poison's hero. he heart eyes him. *grins*

Nice! I like the way you write Gerard here, his reactions seem very plausible, how he's mostly matter-of-fact about the whole thing but also vaguely hopes that it might lead to him getting laid more often in the future.
