New Years
So started off the weekend meeting up with Kristen, picking up Paul at the bus station, going to yesterdog twice, and then seeing Mustard Plug at the intersection for Jason's birthday.
Mustard Plug was awesome. Had a really weird confrontation there, however. My ex's fiance came up to me and was like, hey I just wanted to tell you, I gave him his ring back today, and I don't want us to hate each other anymore, I want things to be cool. So, of course I'm like fine with me, shook hands and things are done.
Started off for Canada halfway through Mustard Plug... I KNOW!... but we had to get on the road, it was getting late. Got there about 1:30 in the morning, NO OPEN BARS OR LIQUOR STORES... ARG!
New Year's Eve, ate lunch at Taboo, good stuff, one corona. Met up with Kristen Forgeron, Matt Mieras, and Jacob, went with them to Tom's, then we went to Woody's Outhouse for New Years. The place was pretty cool, and cheap, which was great considering I only had $25 left. After paying cover I had $10 which I promptly spent all of on ONE.. .yea only ONE Mexican Martini. After that I had to flirt for my drinks, which turned out to be 3 budweisers. I had an awesome time, then finally met back up with Kristen, Paul, TJ, and Ash at the club they went to. Waited a LONG time for a taxi then finally got to go pee and pass out. Also, called everyone I knew while I was very drunk and wished them a happy new year! sorry if I forgot you...
Next day... switch hotels becuase Best Western in Windsor SUCKS! Went to Milk so everyone else could drink Absinth. Then went back to the hotel and watched The Village.. it was creepy, but I need to see it again becuase I slept through some, but from what I saw, it was good. Ordered pizza, then went down to the Pub, it was really nice, had 2 coronas, mmmm. Then me and Paul hit the hot tub.. ahhhhhhhh. It was a long time since I had been in a hot tub. It was nice. Went back to the room, watched Clockwork Orange and went to sleep.
Today... Came home. Long drive. Me very tired. Got sick from TJ or Ash.. ugh. Coughing SUCKS. So, current state of mind: tired, confused, bored, a little stressed, but... I think things will work out. Tomorrow get to look for jobs, woohoo...er..NOT.
