Ahhhhhh OMG the kind of people who kills the mood of anyone!! *sighs*
In the street, there is a lot of people with mental troubles, they rage against anybody about anything because in itself, they can't control themselves and their lives!! It's sad for the victims and them too! Unfortunately, we can't do anything!! T_T When it happens at us, it's shocking, makes us nervous and feeling how it's unfair, because we are innocent!! I'm sorry for you!! *hugs*
Concerning your teacher, i don't really like his attitude!! It's NOT your fault if u have an accent!! MOREOVER, anybody who isn't a native HAVE an accent, so WTF is his attitude here????? For example, is it correct to say at someone who talks with a British accent to talk with an American one??? The answer is: NO it isn't!! Why? Because ALL is correct!!! There is NO obligation to talk as an American from NY or from Texas or as an Australian or etc... The important is the content and to decide to be ALWAYS talking and structuring the sentences in the way. ie. if u talk British, u have to write in correct British English and not mixing with American etc.. It comes at the same issue in your case! The teacher should focus that you're always doing the things correctly and not in a pronunciation THAT ANY JPN CAN UNDERSTAND!! He even should see this as something interesting, because it can train others speakers at different accents!! Anyway, as always i'm a baka with no sense!! ahaha XDDDDD Gambatte with all this people!! *hugs*
By the way, Thankies for the prettiness of our Lord!!^^ *hugs*
This instructor is just very...strange. She has a lot of quirks that I don't get. I don't tend to talk to her much because I'm afraid I'll say something dumb and accidentally offend her. But I only have her for a few more weeks. Then, hopefully, I'll be able to get my other instructor back. ^^;
I don't fully understand her annoyance with accents either. :/ But a friend I was talking to said it might be from a complex that some people born and raised in Tokyo sometimes get. Where they think the "no accent" language is the only "ok" one. :/
