Just a quick, probably boring explanation since I've had several people ask why I get harassed on LJ.
From weeding through all the bull that is seen in the hate-spam I get, I have narrowed their reasons down to two things:
1. If I state my opinion on a "controversial" G related subject (like his views on women, sex, etc.).
The main example that I have was when somebody posted an article about his views on sex; how he believes that it is better to know early in the relationship (within the first few dates) if the two are sexually compatatable or not. When I said that I agree (I believe sex is very important in a relationship), I got several messages calling me a whore, telling me that I should be ashamed of myself, and that I didn't need to agree with everything G says. Well, I don't agree with him on everything he says/does, but if they want to assume that I do based off my opinion on one of the many touchy G-related topics out there, so be it.
But that is the main reason why you will probably never see me say anything on his more sensitive subjects. It's just easier to not have to deal with the b.s. when they don't have anything to go off of.
2. I get people saying that my LJ is nothing but a spam journal, full of copyright infringements. And that if I don't delete it they'll report me.
Well, my definition of 'spam' is unwanted content being sent out to random people. I think it is safe to assume that everyone on my f-list likes G, and are no longer "random" people. XD I never went out and asked anyone to follow me on their f-pages. While I may have asked to be added, I never demanded that they check my LJ everyday or leave me in their f-list watch list. >_>
As to copyright infringement... Yeah, but gtfo it XD I'm not trying to claim anything as mine. As much as I'd like to call G mine X3. I don't demand people give me credit for the scans, even though it is much appreciated, I just ask that they don't claim them as their doing. And I only request that because of the money I spend on the magazine/book/whatever and the time it takes to scan them.
Also, while I do enjoy sharing scans with others, a part of the reason I do scan the items is for my own archiving purposes. I don't like constantly taking down magazines just to try and remember what it contains. It is so much easier to just look in a folder on my computer...
And despite their efforts in trying to scare me into deleting my LJ (if they were going to take action, I'm pretty sure they would have tried something by now), I'm not going anywhere. Sorry to all you angry haters. ^3^/
And as stated before:
