Thank yous omuch for the pictures. They're wonderful.

In the last picture though, he's wearing modern looking boots. Unless I'm wrong, didn't samurai wear a sort of sandal type of shoes back then?

Yeah, I've noticed in some pictures that he seems to be wearing modern shoes. They look fairly similar to the usual shoes he wears. I'm not sure what that's about!

...those cowboy boots he always has on. I guess they're shaped like hexagons? I thought they were more pointy than that though.
