[Louise is wandering worriedly through the school grounds, looking in all directions as she walked] Where is she, she's going to be late for-- [Catches sight of a familiar head of red hair standing out from a tree] Oh.

[Facepalmes as she approaches the tree. She calls up to her friend] Just what are you doing up there?

HEY, it's only happened one other time... > u>;

[Floriana jumps as a loud voice suddenly breaks her out of her happy moment with the baby birds. Her fingers dig into the scratchy texture of the tree branch to keep her balance as she looks down at her friend] Lui! Hello~! Ve ve, what're you doing here?

Oh, [She smiles and points at the birds] I found a nest~

[Birds. Of course. Louise rolls her eyes and puts her hand on her hips] I was looking for you! I'm supposed to tutor you in math, remember?

[She swings her legs childishly and smiles without a care in the world. Her friend's exasperation wasn't being picked up, it seems] Oh... Math is no fun anyway! I'd rather take a siesta up here~

Oh, really? [Crosses arms and raises an eyebrow] Very well. I'll leave you alone to take a 'siesta' up there provided you can prove to me that you can get down without my help.

[At that comment, the smile is swept off of her face and replaced with something of hesitance. And then it turns into a pout] But Luiii, I can't just climb down and then back up again! That would tire me out.

[She hopes whining wins the arguement here] I'm fine, I promise!

[Totally unconvinced. She sighs and sits down at the base of the tree] Very well. Spend you time with those birds and come down when you feel like it. I'll be waiting. [--and reading her math textbook]

You don't need to sit there, though... [Because then getting down will be that much more embarrassing. Floriana looks down at the blond sitting at the trunk, then to the branch. They'll just have to see who gives up first]

[She manages to position herself like a leopard in a tree; resting on her stomach over the branch and using her arms as pillows. Not the most conventional way for a lady to sprawl herself, though Flori didn't care so much. She tears herself off a piece of bark and lets it fall on top of Louise's head] Hehe~ Ne, do baby birds eat bark?

Wha-- [Scoffs as the bark hits her hair and shifts over so she's not such an easy target. She glares up at her friend] Of course not, you idiot. They eat worms.

And if you drop another piece of bark on me, I will be forced to come up there to retrieve you.

[She picks off another piece of bark anyway, extending her arm to the baby birds so they could raise their long necks and open their mouths, as if she was holding up a delicious piece of food for them] See? They want me to feed them~

Oh Lui, you're no fun [Waves her friend off dismissively, waits a second, then throws the piece of bark that she was trying to give the birds. Floriana giggles as it hits Louise's arm]

[Snaps her book shut and looks up with determination] Very well, you've made your decision.

[Stands and indecisively scans her uniform. The skirt won't do... Oh wait. She pulls out some ribbons (they're for an art project that's not even due for two weeks, but oh well) and quickly wraps them around her legs and her skit to make makeshift (albeit baggy) pants]

I'm coming up to get you now! Don't move!

[saluta_italiana]

Wha? Ve ve, nooo, you don't need to come up! [She sits up quickly, fixes her skirt, and freaks out a little as Lui prepares] I can get down by myself! You stay [Holds her fist over her mouth, as if that would hide her wibbling. Not overreacting at all]

You never trust meee! [Flails]

S-Stop that! You'll fall! [Freezes as she reaches for the first branch and sighss. Her friend's flailing is nothing new. She's used to it by now]

Very well, then come down. I'll watch. [Waiting...]

... But I don't wanna get down yet, Lui [Here they go again] You can go study, and I'll catch up in a few! That is a good plan, sí? [She offers a wide smile, hoping that would seal the deal]

Floriana, you have the attention span of a duck. I know those baby birds will only keep you occupied for a few minutes. [Shift weight impatiently from one leg to the other] What on earth is keeping you up there?!

[saluta_italiana]

And now you're being mean to meee~! [She begins tearing up, but quickly uses her fists to whipe her eyes dry. She doesn't remove her hands when she's finished though, opting to use them to cover her face instead] Vee, I wanna stay up here!
