[A little Italian was off in the distance, broom clutched tightly between his (her?) fingers as he looked between the tall buildings. He felt like an ant compared to the big setting, and little Itala only shrunk further in fear]

[The child's voice shook as he spots another small figure a little ways ahead] V-Ve. Reich...? [Wibble]

Omfg yes. <3 (Is his name Feliciano? Or Itala? Not sure. xD)

[Looks up at the familiar voice, surprised] I-Itala? [His voice squeaks as he stands, hurrying over to her] W-What are you doing here? Are you lost, too?

Named him Itala /SO CREATIVE

[Upon seeing that it really was Reich by the statue, Itala rushes forward, meeting halfway and clinging to him] Y-Yess... Where are we? Ve, I want p-papa... [Big tears were threatening to spill already]

[Wraps his arms protectively around her and pats her head awkwardly] I-It'll be okay! Um, I don't know where we are, but I'm sure we can find Roderich and Elizabeta and... and... then we can go home!

[Sniffle] R-Really? [He clutches Reich's coat between little fingers, trying to will away his tears. Itala was naturally a crybaby, unfortunately] H-How do we find them? What if we're lost out here... forever [Oops, sobbing now]

[Hugs her tighter, feeling wibbly himself] T-Then we'll find other people to take care of us, alright? I can take care of us, I'm big and strong! [Trying to convince himself here]

Nffg... [Itala's wibbly sounds, apparently. It came out muffled in the other boy's jacket] O-Okay... If you p-promise... [He takes Reich's hand, looping his pinky with the German's for a classic pinky swear]

[Nods vehemently and tights his pink on hers] I promise.

[With renewed resolve, he stands straighter, takes her by the hand and looks around the courtyard] W-We should probably go inside, it's too cold for us out here.

[He nods, agreeing. Itala was shivering violently after all, the dress doing nothing to protect his legs against the weather. He tightens his hold around the other boy's hand] Ve. M' cold... And sleepyyy...

Eh? W-Well, don't fall asleep while we're walking! [Leads her to the nearest door and tentatively peeks inside] This looks like a school. Maybe there's a sofa for you to sleep on?

[He nods. He couldn't make any promises though] I'll try~.

[Itala was pleased as they get inside one of the buildings, warmth from the heaters greeting them almost instantly. The Italian looks around shyly] What kind of school is this? It's big... Ve ve, and where're the teachers?

I-I think it's a boarding school, so the students live here. They all look older than us though... [Bites his lip. He turns to Itala, motioning to the wall] Do you want to stay here while I go look? I don't want you to be scared of the... the... tall people. [Adults, technically, but Reich didn't want to admit that he was little]

[pasta_face]

N-Nooo... [He quickly springs forward, latching himself right onto Reich's arm. Wibbly tears hung at the corners of his eyes, but didn't fall] If you leave, then I'll be all alone... Ve, a-and the monsters will get meee!

I messaged Roddy so maybe he'll pop in at some point. :3

[Sighs and squeezes her] I won't leave you, I just want you to be... [blushes] comfortable. But w-we can go together, okay? [Takes her hand again and carefully starts walking forward, looking for someone --anyone]

[The Italian's nerves were beginning to calm somewhat as they walked, though he still hung close to his friend in case someone popped out of nowhere. Didn't teachers sleep in school? Did they turn into zombies at night?]

[Itala squeaks at the thought, squeezing Reich's hand] Are we ever gonna see R-Roderich again?

[He wibbles inside at that thought] O-Of course we can! [Tries to puff out his chest so he didn't look so afraid] And I'm sure we'll see Elizabeta, too. She probably has some cake ready for us when we find our way back.
