I feel saddened whenever I turn on the TV to watch the news these few days.
The typhoons and earthquakes that have devastated our neighbours in this region have caused so much destruction and suffering for the people.
They have been relentless in unleashing their powers over the past week without giving the people a chance to take a breather.
It shows that we are still at the mercy of nature no matter how advanced or powerful we humans think we are.
I don't have a religion but I hope that friends who have can keep the people who have been affected by the disasters in their prayers tonight.
