Zoo Playground
I took Isabelle and Tristan to the Zoo on Sunday afternoon while dauphins was at a play. They had just woken up from their naps and were a bit groggy at first, but once we walked by the playground, they lost all interest in the animals. We spent most of our time on the playground while Isabelle ran around and around going down the slide, then running through it and bouncing all around. The playground at the Zoo is nothing like playgrounds at parks and is pretty fun for kids of all ages. They only allow kids up to four feet tall, and last time we were at the Zoo Isabelle wanted to play on it but really was too small to do anything fun since she wasn't quite mobile enough. Tristan wouldn't let me get more than a few feet away from the playground because he wanted to ejoy it as well - instead of just waiting for his sister. I stood him up on the side of it and he grabbed on to the net and colorful poles. He also enjoyed playing in the sand box, even though I had to pull sand out of his mouth a couple of times. I finally got Isabelle to head out of the Zoo by bribing her with Ice Cream since we had to get back in time to meet dauphins and go eat dinner.
