Can I blame the rum?

Title: Let Go
Series/Spoilers: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End/that other movie in which a boat sinks no, not "The Poseidon Adventure"
Summary: Davy Jones finally gets what was always promised to him.
A/N: To eryne_chan, for the soundtrack and precious download material I swear the serious angst will come later. I just...needed to write this now.

Insert appropriate Frou Frou lyrics here for great irony )

failing at life, writing, misc., shameless self-indulgence, crossovers gone crazy

I just watched POTC tonight and er...wtf indeed.

Hee, the moment she said/thought "Jack," I realized Davy wasn't going to be happy. Only you could pull off this crossover ^_~.

I stopped expecting it to make sense and just let myself be taken in by the antics. And Barbossa. He made that movie.

I'll take that as a compliment. You mean "only you could think something that insane and bizarre" right? :P

Maybe...but I mean with love ♥

And as much as I dislike Elizabeth (well at least, don't like her), I was kinda sad for her and Will...god I'm such a sap :P

But yes, Barbossa did make that movie...and MonkeyJack.

Yeah, the good thing about movie three is it actually made me support Will/Elizabeth at the end. In its own weird way. And hopefully you sat through the credits to see their happy ending.

Monkey!Jack was fantastic, yes he's fully included in the awesome section of the movie. In his little Singapore junk sailor outfit d'aaaaawwww.

Figures...damn I knew there would be something at the end.

Care to share what said happy ending was? Did she go on the boat after him?

No problem. All the stuff that they cut from the film actually explains it better, but Will's curse on being tied to the Flying Dutchman could be lifted if his true love, the one who holds his heart, met with him on land after ten years. Then he could see them whenever (unfortunately they aren't very clear on this because of time issues). So the final moments of the movie after the credits show Elizabeth coming down to see him with a ten year old kid in tow and everybody is happy because the curse is broken.

Thanks for telling me, I was able to see it just now...I love youtube :P.

Should I ask how you know what was originally cut from the movie? ^_~.

Eh, the kid's cute and now that damn "Yo ho, yo ho" song is stuck in my head *_*

And yayz, happy ending!

I went searching for spoilers/continuity checks because I spent the whole movie going "please have pity for the poor editor that had to cut down that mess." So that was the first spoiler cut I stumbled on. I keep hoping I'll find more resolution for Davy Jones/Calypso too. I want closure damnit.

Hee, I thought you'd like the fluffy ending. It suits your tastes~

Well considering I might have shed a few tears over the forced parting between Will and Elizabeth, it's nice to see them get a happy ending...better late than never ^_~.

But yeah, that movie was filled with crazytoomuch stuff *_*.

psst, have you checked your facebook thingie lately?

Yes, despite everything they are really too OTP for anything else. But I prefer the bickering old married couple of Barbossa/Jack *snerk*

...no? I signed up practically at gunpoint (well, fondue forks) by my friends but haven't really checked it since.

Well, there wasn't fondue forks, but Care left me for 3 weeks to visit her home province, and I got bored and I was reading The Complete Life's Little Instruction Book and the next thing I know, I'm filling out the blasted thing. Er, provided I found the right you on Facebook, there should be a message waiting from me, if you ever decide to brave it again ^_~.

I have no will power, ever :P
