I was so surprised when I saw this yesterday! You wrote me Nobuta, and it's sweet, and true to the characters, and it makes me so happy! Thank you!

I had forgotten so much of this show, but reading your fic took me back. Ah, I forgot how much I had loved it!

I really like your portrayal of Shuuji and his internal conflicts. You have his emotions down. Poor Shuuji, so insecure, thinking about his mold and image, and yet finding out that he chose the right path and not even knowing why. This was fantastic. I think it's one of the most realistic Shuuji portrayals that I've read. Because I think despite everything, deep down inside Shuuji IS a good person, and if he had been forced to it, he would have made the right choice.

And Nobuta. You wrote Nobuta exactly how I saw her-- trying so hard to be strong, and finding courage even in the toughest situations, like with Bando.

The scene with Mariko breaks my heart a little, like it did in episode 8, but at least Shuuji in this story learns to be honest earlier (and Mariko wouldn't be as attached as say 4 episode later).

And of course I adore the Akira interaction at the end. I love this OT3.
