Apartment Hunting in Gainesville
Hello! I'm currently a UF student living with a roommate in Frederick Gardens. Our lease is up in October, and while I know that's ages away, I'm looking for a new place. Without roommates. I have a full-time (but low-paying) job lined up for when I graduate in the Summer, so I'm looking for a place that's $650 or less a month with a decent kitchen and at least some amenities included. Frederick Gardens seems to be one of the best I've found price-wise and with amenities (the 2/1 I'm in right now is $580 with water and sewage included, total, that we split), but this model has a ridiculously small amount of kitchen counter space. (If it wasn't for the fact that there's no counter space, I'd try to get the same model. I think the 1/1's in FG run around $515 without any amenities, so I'd have more space and less bills for only $65 more a month.)
I've never had to pay for water, sewage, AND electric (so I'm assuming it's high), but I'll gladly accept any suggestions for a place with $525 or less a month, without roomies.
Are any of my expectations unrealistic?
