It waves an arm. A swarm of Worm Apocalypse fly at Sanshi from every direction. They try to obstruct him, tie him up, hold him down, basically be a massive nuisance.
*They're Worm Apocalypse. The main thing is that they are a massive nuisance, but stuff like that is at least easier than the goddamn King going at him.
As he fights off the swarm, he tries to yell out to the woman lying there*
Oi! Get up already! You're gonna get killed if you lay there!
*... and for the record, yes, he is speaking in Japanese. One wonders if that matters in dreamland.*
"hnngh." The woman is already crawling to her feet. She stares at Sanshi for a good few seconds.
She then grabs him and leaps backwards and into the air as two of the Worm King's fists punch the ground where he was standing, leaving a small indent.
"...I'd ask who you are, but I'm not much of one to question providence." lol what language barrier?
"I do have one question, though." She darts a little higher into the air, probably jerking Sanshi about as the Worm King takes another swing at them. "Can you fly?"
*He lands, managing to do so in a way that won't break his legs. Man he is thankful for that armor.
However, he starts running as soon as he realizes that the Worm King is probably going to hit again, the spike on his arm at ready, attempting to get close enough to strike*
The Worm King just flat out lets him strike him, right on his stomach.
And it does absolutely fuck all.
ALLY OF JUSTICE... It seems to be considering as, with surprising speed, it swings one of its arms out to snatch Sanshi up. CROSS SYNCHRO POTENTIAL UNREALIZED. POINTLESS.
LET ME SQUEEZE THOSE DELICIOUS RIDER SPARKS OUT OF YOU, SANSHI.
The woman flies at the Worm King, a red tornado surrounding her body and trailing behind her as she aims a drop kick right at his head. She strikes the King in the neck, sending its entire body rocking to the side for a second.
It shifts it body and flings Sanshi at her. Improperly prepared for this, she fails to catch him, and they both go tumbling to the ground.
"Ow." She winces and pushes Sanshi off of her. She grimaces and looks up. "I don't think that did much."
Before she can say anything, the Worm King has gotten right in front of them again. Its massive stomach cracks until a mouth hole opens in it. It sucks in the remainder of the Worm Apocalypse and then fires a beam at Sanshi and the armored woman.
The beam completely overwhelms her, lifting her into the arm and shattering her armor. Both she and Dragunity Brandistock go slamming into the ground.
"Argh..." She starts cursing in French, struggling to push herself to her feet.
*Is consumed as well by the beam, following in much the same fashion as Gail, Cyclone Creator stunned by the aftermath of it, and Sanshi aching and dazed, not having seen it coming. ... ... though is momentarily shocked at seeing that the woman has been Flynn. He tries to get up, but he's bad at it.*
Gail lets out a cough. "If I had to guess, considering that wind-up...it was the Worm King's effect..." She activates her disk and slips a card in as the Worm King's stomach-mouth-thing glows again. "Duck!" She slams the ground with her hand and a yellow shield appears around the two of them, absorbing the beam this time, but cracking visibly. It won't hold up to another shot.
Gail grabs Brandistock. "Brandistock, c'mon, get up!" The dragons lets out a pained groan - it's barely conscious, muchless capable of Cross Synchro. Gail grimaces and looks at Sanshi and the Cyclone Creator.
