Work

In case you didn't know, I currently work for a non-profit.  It is a pretty cool place to work for the most part; everyone is really nice (I haven't met anyone that I don't like...yet), the work isn't hard but sometimes quite mundane (as it was today), and we're working for a great cause that I truly believe in.  That's the best thing about working for a non-profit: the feeling that you're doing something to better the lives of others.  I'm not sure how much good I'm doing there being an admin. assist., but I guess everything evens out in the end.

I work for 3 really great people: the Operations manager;  the Muskegon regional manager and the Ottawa regional manager.  They all have really great senses of humor and are very fun to work with and for.  The Muskegon RM is the head of the FISH! training, which is a training for staff to teach them how to have fun at work.  This makes her be a very fun person with a great attitude.  She always gives me fun stuff to do like make flyers, forms, certificates and such.  The Operations manager gives me a lot of maintanence (sp) and safety paperwork to do.  We just got done with preparing stuff for the board meeting, tabulating vehicle accidents, work orders, things of that nature.  The Ottawa RM hasn't given me that much work to do yet, just some reference checks and stuff to put into our billing database, ECHO.  Speaking of ECHO, I have to go see Mr. Eko on Lost.
More later!
