My beautiful, old, and stone deaf cat, Cassandra has one serious negative characteristic: She meows extremely loudly. This wouldn't be so bad if she only did it during the day, but she does it at night, when the neighbors are trying to sleep.

I just came back from a games night at the house of b00jum, which I found out about from mactavish, who heard about it on bipolypagangeek. It was a small gathering--just five people including me--but it was fun. Last night I played NTN Trivia, something I haven't done for a few months. I used to play at a bar in NE Portland. It took about a half hour to get there and the place was smoky. After a while I just found the stale smoke smell on my clothes seemed to last for days and made it hard for me to sleep the night I played. So I mostly gave it up ( Read more... )
