Dear Ben Cross (Letter 36)

Dear Ben

Hope you're having a great day!  I'm having a good one.

I am feeling a bit under the weather today.  A tiny bit of a sore throat.  I made some hot honey and water (couldn't find any lemon) and promptly dumped it all over my desk.  Not all of it but a good portion of it.  *sigh*

My singing class was ok.  I have a problem with high notes.  Not that they are out of my range, but because once I start hitting the high notes my voice breaks.  I tend to falter after it.  But I'm getting better.  There is a lot of fun work to be done :)  I'm quite pleased.

I'm practicing the song "Went Down To The River To Pray."  It's a great song and most importantly the lyrics are easy.  The song isn't as easy to sing as I had anticipated. Of course, I've had 3 sessions of training at a half hour each so miracles are not to be expected.

I'm starting to get butterflies about the game in September.  It's one thing to game with friends quite another to game with strangers.  I think chances are good that they might have a couple of professional actors.  God, what if they have professional actors.  My gaming goes like this:  I have good nights.  I have ok nights.  I have AWESOME nights.  I have CRAPPY nights.  If I have a crappy night on that night what am I going to do?

I'm just going to step back and worry about it later.

I think I'm going to go to bed.  Not feeling well.  Night!

Gail
