Ugh, working on Christmas sucked. But, I had a nice delicious Christmas dinner waiting for me at home. Amika really worked her butt off on it, and also cleaned the house. We exchanged packages, both being satisfied with our takes.
Unfortunately our package from the states didn't make it until Sunday, but it came in the middle of the day and it was kind of nice to have a little second Christmas. One of the highlights was a box set of all of the original Star Trek movie DVDs. If only we hadn't lost the power cord to the DVD player....
And now I'm off for the holidays, from the 28th through the 3rd, which is meaningless since it's a Sunday. But, almost a whole week off is nice. For those of you who pity me, the Japanese Calendar is ripe with 3 day weekends, so it just kind of gets spread out throughout the year.
I've been spending that time diving back in Oblivion (video game). My save game got deleted a while ago and I gave up, so I restarted. It does eat your life...
And Warcraft III, which I used to have a copy of but never completed. I beat the original campaigns and am moving into the expansion. I played the Bonus Campaign, which seems very much to be a precursor to WoW, and I'm wondering if the other campaigns are the same way.
