last night was not a great night to be a shelter volunteer. when we got the dogs out and started our run, i thought we must have gotten lucky with the weather. oh, that all changed on the way back. we started getting pelted with icy sleat. it was not pleasant. i couldn't see very well and tripped over my dog, right onto my elbow and right hip and am kind of sore today. the only positives are that the dog got out for a run and so did i. that weather would have normally caused me just to sit at home and watch tv.
i am so glad to not be out waiting for a bus still. the bus i normally take never showed up, but another one to issaquah did. although that one only gets me to the park n ride, where i have to wait for a free shuttle. waiting for that free shuttle was ridiculously cold.
