Game 7 is starting, so I"m gonna go draw and watch the Giants. *prays* I hope they win tonight! Just finished watching Frailty with Clint. Man...that is one powerful movie. Definitely not for teh squeemish. Not that it's full of gore or anything...but the implied violence is quite intense. Bill Paxton is a great director...great actor too. Definitely one for our library...especially if you want your patootie scared off. O_O
Blech. Still feel icky though. Ick.
I showed Clint the portfolio I put together earlier...he said it looks really cool, which made me feel good. :) AND, as we were watching Knight Hunters (he decidedly did NOT like Knight Hunters as much as he likes Cowboy Bebop) he said that he will learn Japanese with me! YAY! I'm going to start looking into where we can take classes. Hopefully at ARC. Something else for us to do together. He's afraid that the characters will give him problems though, as he can read and write hebrew and I guess there are some Japanese characters that look a lot like teh Hebrew ones. Weird. I can't wait myself though. Now all I need is an inkstone and some good quality rice paper and I'll be ready for the caligraphy too. I've already got the brushes and the ink blocks...but I still need the stone.
...anyway...time to go watch the game.
