I has job!
Despite the severe cut in salary, I decided to suck it up and accept the EPA job offer. It's a good opportunity to do something new, learn something new, and have a real salaried job on my resume. If I think the temp job I have right now is boring and incomprehensible after 5 months of working here, I don't hold much hope for a future prospect that isn't even guaranteed.
Maybe in the end I'll find I'm financially comfortable quitting my weekend job after all. Maybe not. Maybe I'll just get pissed off one day and stomp out in a blaze of glory. ;) But I'll deal with it.
