winter cleaning

So I was cleaning out my bookshelf, 'cause it's too crowded. Many books are going in a box to be stored away until I want to read them (or not, most likely). And of course I have to go through my old binders-- yes, that's right, more than one-- of DBZ fanfic.

Let's see, among the wreckage we have:

- A printout of Total Solar Exclipse in it's shit entirety.
- Many, many various scenes for the eternally unfinished Unwelcome.
- Plans for a DBZ version of West Side Story, with the Saiyajin as the Jets and humans as the Sharks. This is different than a yaoi version I still have on my computer that strays very fair from the musical.
- Parts of a DBZ version of American Beauty with Goku as Kevin Spacey and Vejita as the slut cheerleader, naturally.
- A story about Bulma's bad day which was supposed to end with her sleeping with Vejita for the first time.
- An outline of a DBZ version of A Midsummer Night's Dream based on what I could remember after our computer crashed and ate what I had written so far. (I think that would have turned out well, actually.)
- Something that I think was going to wind up with Bulma as a witch...
- A scene from a fic about an end of the world the DBZ protagonists couldn't stop, in which Bulma dies and they give her a queen's burial.
- A cute scene that never fit into anything I wrote-- basically Vejita answers the door with Bra riding on his shoulders, and she has to part his hair in the middle and hold it down to see. Of course it's Goku at the door. Previously they had been watching Blue's Clues.
- Bulma and Vejita having a real wedding years after the fact, which actually isn't so terrible, I don't think.
- Aaaaaand fanart, not all of which made it to the internets.

I thought I was gonna throw it all away like my original fiction, but I didn't have the heart, so only the worst/most useless made it into the bag.

Nostalgia. Oh, Vejita, where did my undying love for you go?

fanfiction, dragonball z, nostalgia
