This is a threesome fic with my OT3 (John/Rodney/Teyla). I'm not entirely sure I buy the closeness of the three from what I see in canon. I don't doubt that they are very teamy, but I'm not sure what would prompt Woolsey to ask the questions he does in this fic (in my limited experience, I don't think of bureaucrats as asking - hm, are there any big gay threesomes going on here?).
But, that being said, I love this fic. Mostly, I like the parts in between about how people fall in and out of love with each other and why. It was an excellent characterization of each of the characters, with a nice open-ended ending that didn't try to force things in the way some threesome fics tend to. Woolsey's dialogue was great too - especially when he interacts with Rodney, which I was sad we didn't get to see a lot of in the Return.
In other words - go read it for the characterization.
