Writing Update
There is a God (formerly Unnamed Project): Still waiting; their deadline to tell me one way or another is Oct. 1. So, two weeks.
Knights Errant: I'm 1600 words into the chapter. Exciting action is happening; I just need to sit down and finish it. I seem to be having trouble sitting down and finishing things lately.
Moonrise Novel: Nope. But as soon as I finish my chapter of KE, I'm going to dust off my notes and start rethinking the characters. I need to have the characters be their own entities. Because it was originally this FMA fanfiction deal, that's especially important. But I think I have enough distance from the FMA novella I wrote to be able to make them have their own voices. I think I'm going to keep the story revolving around a sibling pair, but make the younger sibling female... Anyway, we'll see. I also need to work on an outline for the novel. And more background world notes.
The end of the month is signups for fmabigbang. Also, signups end for fmagiftexchange around the same time, so prompts should go up shortly thereafter. That's also roughly when nominations for yuletide start- Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, I will nominate you! Also Atomic Robo. And... er.... something else. Maybe The Graveyard Book or American Gods or Sandman. Or Pumpkin Scissors. Oooh- maybe Ex Machina!
Anyway, fandom stuff is about to pick up again.
