Elections: I am still working on this, albeit slowly. I've been doing that thing where I actively avoid writing by going and scouring
norsekink for gen fic. :P I have finished another pair of chapters (there are already 8 chapters- 4 proper chapters+4 short bits of epistolary) and sent them to
mebh_me for editing. That puts me about 6k off from the end of the story. I intend to finish soon. With prejudice. At least there is drama and angst upcoming; those are so much easier to write than speeches. In any case, I'm going to finish this before anything else.
Untitled Doctor Who story for a prompt I'm not allowed to reveal yet: I suddenly realized after my last update that I had Completely Forgotten that I'd promised to write a story for
wintercompanion (a Jack/Doctor community. Although I get away with Jack+Doctor and no one complains.). And that it was due this past Monday. Writer angst ensued and Elections got derailed for a bit. I did finish it on time, though, and sent it to the mods. They'll be posting it there for me sometime next week, and then I'll be able to post it on my own archives at the end of July.
Unnamed Project: Still not working on this. I have had some ideas, but. Like I said, as soon as I get done with Elections, I'm a bang this out.
Knights Errant: Still haven't touched it, obviously. I'm sort of at an exciting part, too- the battle of Mount Badon. But I'll get back to it soon. The next chapter should not involve writing any medieval ballads, so there's that.
Moonrise Novel: This is in outlines. I'm mentioning it here only to remind myself that I'm a do this. I won't be working on it seriously until Knights Errant is complete. i.e., after Elections and Unnamed Project are also complete.
I might not be doing
fmabigbang after all. Regardless, I definitely won't be doing it soon. The rules have been changed for this round to make it where the authors are prompted by the artists. Which is cool, but I'm not sure I'll be motivated. I have quite some time until then, however, because the authors won't be writing until fall. So we shall see.
