In case you haven't heard, there are massive fires in San Diego. Last time I checked there were 8. A ton of people are being evacuated and a lot of homes have been destroyed. We are in a state of emergency. School is closed for today and tomorrow due to unhealthy air quality. It's really scary. The fires wont hit where I am because we are in a triangle of freeways, which act as fire breaks. Also, we're really close to the water, so that helps. The fire has affected some of our friends though. Other than being semi-afraid, Megan and I are bored out of our minds. We are not supposed to go outside or drive unless we have to..so we are sitting in our apartment and have cabin fever. We're trying to read but it's not really working. We made a cake and have already eaten half of it. Sometimes not having school sucks.
Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know that I am safe in case you were wondering. Hopefully the fires will be contained soon.
