my dad = cool. he's figured out a way for you lovely people in the states to call me for free. seriously.
anyone with a memphis area code, or with a cell phone that has free long distance can use this number to reach me:

if you do not have free long distance on your cell phone/do not live in the memphis area, you can send me the name of your city + your area code, and my dad can set it up so you can call me for free from your house phone.
important! if you do decide to call me, pleasepleaseplease be aware of the time difference. here's an easy formula to help you figure it out!
eastern time zone: your current time + 6 hours = current germany time.
central time zone: your current time + 7 hours = current germany time.
mountain time zone: your current time + 8 hours = current germany time.
pacific time zone: your current time + 9 hours = current germany time.
during the week, please don't call later than ten pm my time without warning me first with a text. i do not have my own phone in my room, and i don't think my host family would appreciate being woken up by the phone going off. on the weekends, i think til twelve is okay. if you can text me before you call, that's good. i know most of you can't, so it may end up working out best if i call you first, and then you can call me right back. you can always email me to set up times as well.
also, something to note: when you call, it'll sound really weird. the german ringtone thing is super-odd, but don't worry; it's actually ringing!
