доклады принимаются до 1 Февраля
Dear Colleagues,
We are organizing a panel for the tenth CESS (Central
Eurasian Studies Society) conference, to be held at the University of Toronto, Oct. 8-11, 2009
(http://www.cess.muohio.edu/CFP_2009.html).
It will be entitled "Armenians and Islam", and will focus on the encounters between Armenians/Armenia and the Islamic world.
Papers on all aspects of the encounters between Armenia and Islam will be welcome, including:
medieval and modern history,
literature,
art,
anthropology,
sociology,
politics,
etc.
If you are interested in presenting a paper, kindly send the tentative title of your topic to mushegh.asatryan@yale.edu,masatryan@mail.fairfield.edu, or to iranist@yahoo.co.uk. The abstracts will have to be submitted by Feb. 1 2009.
