It's starting to piss me off how judgy people on Tumblr are when it comes to shipping. Posting stuff about how gross certain shippers are in the ship and character tags, just to make sure that everyone with a differing opinion will know just how disgusting and WRONG they are, and generally acting like there's only one good way to ship people (or sometimes, not shipping people, because can't you see that character A is a beautiful Ace snowflake??!!)

Some people ship him with Rey and apparently that means the end of the world as we know it. Here's a protip: the people who ship them already know all the reasons why they are a bad idea as a couple. If you want people to write perfect cinammon roll!Finn with her instead, maybe contribute a little to that ship to get the ball rolling. A lot of people already have, and, by some strange coincidence, they don't seem to be part of the shaming-brigade.
I also saw someone hating on Finn/Rey because she is a Strong Independent Woman, and as such, giving her a love interest would mean that she was automatically weak. ... Sometimes I wonder what goes through people's heads.
