This might or might not have been a good idea.
I just signed up as a writer for sgareversebang! Last year it happened by accident, but this year I decided that if I could do it once, I can repeat the performance (although hopefully with less procrastination and last minute panicking).
It's interesting, writing from an existing artwork. I imagine it must be nice for artists too, getting to influence a writer instead of the other way around.
This year, due to one participant's incredibly dick-ish behaviour last year, the mods have implemented a new rule: There will be check-ins to ensure that the writers actually honour their commitments once they've got past the "legal" drop-out date. Personally, I think it's a good thing.
