Movin' and Shakin'
So the new apartment is up and running, for the most part. Still waiting on a few choice pieces of furniture (bed, desk, couch, curtains, etc.) and some creature comforts like cable, phone, and internet (pirating some poor neighbor's wireless right now). I really like it. It's clean, everything is new (appliances, floors, paint), and the neighborhood is nice (only about 10-15 mins from my job). It's not very big (~600 sq. feet), but that's probably more room than I need and like I said, It's really nice. The owners seem like good people. They live right downstairs (it's a split-level house), so hopefully we'll develop a decent relationship.
It's so weird to finally be living alone as an adult. I can do whatever I want right now. Hell, if I had any freaking curtains, I'd be running around naked (I apologize for that image). It's all very new to me, but I like it. I miss G-burg and all the folks who are still there, but the real world is pretty cool too.
Anyways, I think I might take a nap, since I have hauled entirely too much crap upstairs.
