So, blah. Tricked Jordan into watching High Fidelity last night *gleeful snicker* by putting it on approximately 5-10 minutes before he got to my house. He liked it quite a bit, so, ha. I don't see why people bother to disagree with me, it's been proven that I have impeccable taste in movies.
Of course, when I watch that movie, certain things come to me. Things like "oh my god, I want a record collection that large", but also things like "you know, 'let's get it on' is really a great song." I also realize that I like pop music, which is, in many social circles of my life, tantamount to utter blasphemy. I think my only saving grace is that I don't exclusively like pop music, and therefore just get the "i can't believe she just said that" look and possibly a sadly shaken head when I tell people that I like pop.
People can get so snooty about music - very holier-than-thou coffehouse-intellectual about the whole thing, which frankly is just .
