“Is this how you planned your career?” She opened her eyes again, and looked at him. “Really?”

He shrugged. “ I thought there would be less mutiny to worry about. Fewer religious quests, and assassination plots. I also expected better food for some reason.” He waved his hands expansively. “ I clearly didn’t consider the odds of a world destroying attack by the Cylons enough.”

It is incredibly fun/sad to read fics from years past and see things like this turned into sad, unintended foreshadowing.

That said, I am really enjoying this series. :)

Well, you'll notice that Lee and Kara, who did commit mutiny just as fully as Felix did, didn't get executed.....

RIGHT. But they're Adama's kids. And Felix was just that guy who kept things running. Duh.

I am! I am not commenting on every part, because I keep wanting to move on to more, but rest assured, I like it. :)
